Hi, I’m Aaliyah Junaid.

I like owning a problem from start to finish: working out what’s actually needed, designing how the pieces fit together, then building it and seeing it through.

Lately, I’ve been working on Baands, an AI-powered personal finance app. Before that, I worked on open-source projects such as Evento, and on systems for companies across the world.

I care about software that is easy to change later: clear structure, tests, and code the next person can read.

Away from work, I enjoy watching/learning about spiders, snakes, and basically anything else that crawls, flies, hops…or breathes. You can find that under Side quests, along with my writing and whatever else I’m up to.
